Hi,

I bought on eBay a G3 yosemite motherboard (Blue & White Power Macintosh G3/300), I also have PC100 unbuffered non-ecc RAM and a standard ATX PC power supply.

When I hit the power button on the board, some green leds flash and nothing more happens. I tried to change power supply and ram but still nothing.

Am I missing anything? I was not able to find any troubleshooting on such motherboard.

Please, give me a hint. Thank you.
Domenico

My Yosemite used to have such behavior, it turned out than one RAM slot was damaged. Not 100% sure if it was the culprit but I can't recall it failing again since I removde the RAM module (which was fine) attached to the aforementioned RAM slot, any RAM module attached to such RAM slot just didn't work. I had tried it before with the CUDA switch, reseting PRAM and so on… to no avail.
