I need help... I have upgraded a 2002 emac so that it is running tiger. The computer keeps telling me that i have low powered USB ports when they are not. How do i make the computer recognise that the USB ports are not low powered.

Please tell us more about what you're plugging in, and which ports you're plugging it into.
What message do you get?

The ports on the keyboard should be the only low-power ports.

AFAIK, the 2002 eMac didn't have USB 2.0. It only had USB 1.1 ports, so loading anything onto an iPod via USB is going to be very slow.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

You can't change it, short of replacing the machine with a newer one.
