I have an old G4 tower I'm using as a home server. It has an old PCI ATA card in it and a few big drives. But now SATA drives are cheaper so I need a PCI SATA card. I found a "mac" card but it was something like $200. What a rip off. Newegg has cheaper ones but they don't say they work on a Mac. Are there any mac compatible cards that are reasonable priced? Preferably that are bootable?

Look at OWC: Apple Mac G4 upgrades, Laptop Batteries, Memory, Drives for one. The Firmtek 2 port internal card is $60 some.

Mac S-ATA cards are getting expensive for some reason. Last time I bought one it was an SIIG 2-port from OWC and it was only $30.
