Lately I am finding some very weird preferences in my home user folder/library/prefs. and I will try and paste what these look like (this is a copy from the file name window):
Weird pref #1:

Sometimes, I get several of these, and they seem to be in alphabetical order. I have gone in and deleted all of them, and they keep coming back slowly, maybe 2 a day. They show as folders, but the folder is empty.
Here is the basic application set I used each day: Adobe CS2 suite (Indesign CS2, Photoshop CS2, Golive CS2), Illustrator v10, mail.app, Firefox 2.0.0.2, NeoOffice writer and calc, Parallels with Windoze XP pro, Macromedia Flash, and a few small third-party appls like Doubletake, iGallery, Netmonitor, Blogassist, Bounceback (backup app), and Adobe Bridge.

Thanks for the help solving this. I do not have any serious system issues because of this, but I am getting some unexpected quits and freezes about 2-3 times a day with Photoshop and Indesign...not sure if they are related.
