Hi,
I bought the Decklink SP PCIe card last month, installed it and all was working fine. I could output video to my JVC monitor for FCP previews. I have also used Final cut Pro properly for the first time. After 10 minutes of colour correcting I rendered a preview and my whole system froze. It wasn't a blue screen or software crash but a freeze meaning I had to reboot.
This happens at the same point every time I use FCP, straight after a preview render.
I think this is a Blackmagic problem because it is mentioned in the panic log. Also, when I uninstall the Decklink drivers the system is fine.
Maybe someone who has the same problem can help me. I have sent a support ticket off to Decklink, but need a speedy solution.
thanks.

Here is what I have tried so far to resolve the issue:
Updated os x
Uninstalled, Updated and reverted decklink drivers. Tried Apple certified drivers.
Tried operating under a different user account
Trashed my FCP prefs file
updated FCP version
Reset PRAM and VRAM
Repaired disk permissions
