I recently bought an iMac 24". I installed Boot Camp then XP service pack 2 with 32G of partition space. Then I installed MSN messenger for my wife to video conference with her sisters and I with my family. Everything was smooth up to that point. Here is where the problems begin. The integrated mic does not seem to work. I did a little research and went out and bought the Griffin iMic. Well, I can hear what the perosn on the other side is saying and they can hear me. The problem is that when I speak I get an echo of myslef on my headphones using the iMic. The other side does not hear an echo like I do. What gives? Any ideas? By the way how do I get the integrated speakers and mic to work on this same iMac 24" intel dual core with the latest firmware and software updates....anybody!
