No chime and left mouse button freezes

I have a Power Mac G4 that recently started to slow. It was booting up fine but the mouse was freezing on and off. Now there is no chime at startup and the left button on the mouse is not working. The right button is still working and it goes all the way thru startup. Anyone heard of anything like this? No new software or hardware installed.
