Hi to all!
Yesterday I received after 45(!) long days my new macpro. It's a dual 2.66 with 6GB of memory 2 WD hard disks (250GB each) an ATI Radeon 1900XT and a bluetooth and airport card.
I'm giving all this data because I'm trying to find out if all this contributes to the long boot time I'm havin. It's not ridicilously long I was expecting though a faster one. I'm getting 36" brom bong to desktop. It's exactly the same boot time I'm having with the dualG4867 with 1GB of ram at work.
Other than that the machine is extremely fast.

Check your start up menu and make sure you don't have any programs starting during booting, Also run a disk utility verify check of your HD to make sure you don’t have any corrupt files.
