Is it possible to hook this up using some sort of adapter to firewire? If so, how?

Yes. Is the drive IDE or Serial ATA? If you don't know, does it have a big connector with 40 pins on the back (IDE), or a small black connector (SATA).

I'd recommend any enclosure with a 4 or 5 'egg' rating and more than 9 votes. Pick one you like the price/design/color of. Assembly requires a screwdriver and about 5 minutes.
