I am trying to burn off something more then 7GB on iDVD. However, I have encountered some problems with the DVD. I thought my DVD burner for my 24inch iMac is a double layer one. As it stated here:
PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K06:

Firmware Revision: Q609
Interconnect: ATAPI
Burn Support: Yes (Apple Shipped/Supported)
Cache: 2000 KB
Reads DVD: Yes
CD-Write: -R, -RW
DVD-Write: -R, -RW, +R, +RW, +R DL
Burn Underrun Protection CD: Yes
Burn Underrun Protection DVD: Yes
Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, CD-Raw, DVD-DAO
Media: No

So I went to a local shop and brought DVD-recordable dual layer, (DVD-R DL), on the disc it stated "This disc complies with DVD-R for DL Ver. 3.0/2X-4X (Rev.1.0).
The guy in the shop told me this is the disc that can be used for double layered DVD burner include Macs. However, when I inserted the disc, the disc was keep bouncing out, can anyone help me out on that?
Thanks
iMac 24 Inch, 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 640 GB Hard drive, 256 MB NVIDIA
iPhone4 32GB Black

You seem to have answered your own question: Your burner only supports +R DL. You bought a -R DL disk. That won't work. Go buy a +R DL disk.

I didn't think -R DL existed.

It was released within a few months of +R DL (I don't recall which was first), but it's generally slower and the media is more expensive.
