Hi Everybody,

I'm new to the Mac world and heard from a friend that it might be possible to use DDR2 memory that you would use for PC's in a new Mac Pro I'm considering. With all the crazy price drops you can really score some quality memory for dirt cheap price (Crucial for example).

So will this work? Is it even possible? Any implications or complications? Thanks all!

Actually the Mac Pros need Fully Buffered DIMMS which are a little different (and more expensive) than the ordinary DDR2 modules. Check out Crucial anyway, cause they'll have these FB-DIMMS.
