Hey I have an original 20" Intel iMac. Its a great machine and my experience with it has been just about as good as imaginable. Other than the light on my iSight failing a few weeks after purchase I've never had an issue with it. I have been noticing however that lately ejected discs instead of staying protruding from the drive very frequently (about half the time) just kind of fall out. It's not that big a deal, its actually somewhat amusing. It is a bit startling sometimes when things auto-eject after burning I hear something unexpectedly falling. Has anyone else experienced this same issue? Do you know if apple has a policy for this? I do have Apple Care so I should still be covered though I doubt I'd be bothered going through all that effort. Same thing with the dead iSight LED.

lol, i'd just make a CD crash mat and give them raitings out of 10 for there decent.

I've never heard of it, only thing i can think of is checking the foam padding either side of the Optical Drive slot made sure both sides meet in the middle and there isnt a gap.

I like that idea. Only thing I have right now is a gold fish bag. I hope it will help a little at least.
