1. The regular 7300GT.
Pros: cheap
Cons: Not recommended in the Aperture specs.
2. The ATI 190XT
Pros: Recommended for Aperture
Cons: Power consumption, heat output, very (?) noisy
Is there anything in between? Something quiet that will work with Aperture?
If these are the only two choices, is the 7300 really that bad? We'll be mainly using Aperture for large numbers of JPGs organization and sifting - no RAW in our workflow. Will the 7300 be OK for that?
Don't really want the noise, and have seen many reports of issues with the 1900XT - although it seems whatever the issue was has been resolved (seen lots of complaints on the WoW boards).
Suggestions?
