Yep. Looks like this is gonna be it.
So what are your predictions
• Desktop or mobile chipset?
• Radeon HD or GeForce 8600 across the board?
• GPU on an 'officially' exchangeable MXM card?
• AIO again?
• PCIe slot?
• second HDD bay?
• adjustable screen (height, tilt, swivel)?
And what about the possibility of updating the Mac mini alongside the new iMac?

Intel G33/G31 and all the supported standards by this Chipset
After so much time I hope to see a new Apple Computer/Mac
Best Regards

What I really hope is that the rumors are wrong, because basically what they are saying is a Cinema Display with a computer in the back. I want something original. Unforetunately, though, the current design is as all in one as you can get- just a screen. All they can do now is slim it down and make the screen bigger...
I'm still holding out hope for one of these, but with a slightly bigger chin and maybe a new innovative stand.
Another cool thing would be to have the iMac be only a screen for wall mounting, and have Apple come up with some easy off easy on way of mounting it for everyone... but that's incredibly unrealistic.
Anyway, back to the thread's point, it looks like Think Secret has at least one correct source, they were the first ones to publish the August 7th date.

My pie-in-the-sky scenario is a low-end desktop AND new imacs released! In any case, I've sort of resigned myself to the idea that I'm going imac this time (my desktop is nearly 7 years old), simply because of $$$$$.
My credit card is out. I want -- and need, if you could see how slow this thing is when dealing with photos and other processor-intensive tasks -- a new computer. I was expecting to buy one after MacWorld, planning to buy one, in fact, and have been waiting ever since.

Well, new iMacs, iLife, and dotMac updates are a no-brainer. New iWork and Mac mini? Not so sure.
I would expect the iMac and Mac mini to be Santa Rosa like the MBP. I can only hope for some degree of expandability for each, and for a decent gaming GPU.
My hope: iLife and iWork merged into a single product. (Pages is not a "workplace" app.)
Faint hope: dotMac is free with iLife update.
Faint hope: new database/spreadsheet app.
Really faint hope: new multi-touch mouse.
Really, really faint hope: Apple bundles a decent game or two with iMac and Mac mini.
Really, really, really faint hope: A/V in port on the iMac (to attach a console.)
