I'm having trouble networking to OSX Macs, a titanium laptop and an upgraded 1.4 Ghz G4. (I need to run the G4 tower from the laptop in another room for a recording studio situation) I bought a brand new hub/router and new CAT 6 cables. We have gotten to the point where the two computers "see" each other and I have set up the Public Folder with the Drop Folder in the tower . The problem is when you click on the tower's drop folder from the laptop, it says the tower has not given the laptop "permissions".

Please help. I thought this was supposed to be real easy, now. Is there anyplace where the actual instructions in detail are set out?

Don
