What's weird is that the iMac is beating the Mac Pro in three of the five tests despite being inferior in every respect listed.

I'd expect the quad-core MP to suffer more form the 1 GB RAM bottleneck than the iMac. I don't know however if that can fully explain this discrepancy. In any event, running benchmarks on such machines with just a single GB of memory is outright ridiculous.
