Being a powerbook guy and not having any experience with any Apple product with a built-in iSight.
does the iMac allow a 2nd webcam?
I will be replacing my xp box this fall after the new version of OSX comes out with a new iMac.
I would like to be able to use a 2nd webcam in addition to the builtin. I would manually toggle between them for each purpose.
Like monitoring the pets etc, instead of having to physically turn the iMac around to do it.

Never tried it with Macbook open and iSight connected, but it should be possible, I use my MB as a desktop sometimes with an external iSight. You should be able to select your camera, or it may automatically go to whichever one is active.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.
