Hey Guys,

I have a little problem with this new 1ghz Emac I bought used from the University I work at. The one I was originally shown booted to the desktop no problems at all and worked perfect. The ones I now have is completely locked down for Profs and TA's I guess thus I cannot log on or do anything with the computer. I tried to just wipe it out by booting off the OS X disk but that doesn't seem to work either as the computer is completely locked down, it will not even boot into Firewire Target mode.

Basically what I am asking is, is there another way to wipe this computer's hard drive out other than taking it apart and removing the hard drive, and then formatting in one of my other Mac's? Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
