What's the app that allows you to view the internal temp of your Mac? I'm normally not that concerned with the temperature of non-DIY computers but I'm making the exception for my new 20-inch 2GHz iMac.

Oh yeah pls post your mid-2007 iMac's internal temp when you have the time.

The imaginatively named Temperature Monitor. No idea if it supports the new iMacs yet.

iStat Pro IS supported. It's a widget, and I like it a lot. It can give you data on a whole lot of things going on with your Mac.

Here's what iStat Pro reports on my mid'07 iMac:
CPU A...42º
GPU ...56º
GPU Diode...59º
GPU Heatsink...56º
Ambient...27º
Memory Controller...45º
HD Bay 1...45º
Optical Drive...37º

Enough data for you?

There's no reason to. The new iMacs get warm. Their case is a good conductor. If the components heat up, the case will heat up as well. In addition the CPU heatsink fan blows the hot air directly towards the upper left part of the case where the vent is. But anyway, there's no reason to touch your case for prolonged periods of time. A warm case is nothing to worry about. The temps Glenn posted are absolutely fine.
