So my keyboard on my iMac G4 is going (I bought it in Dec 2003) and I went to the store today and bought a new keyboard. Only one they stock is the "new" thin keyboard. OK... and when I get home, it says in the instructions: To use your keyboard and taker advantage of the full range of features, you need Mac OS X v 10.4.10.

I am using 10.3.9

So I have to upgrade in order to use this new keyboard? Is that what they're saying? But they're not even selling the old keyboard... so I don't have any other options, do I?

Can someone tell me what's up?

The dashboard button can't do anything if you don't have dashboard. Ditto for the other buttons for Tiger features.

It is so that you can use the media keys as media keys. It should work as normal otherwise.
