I NEED HELP! Right now i am at a stand still i dont know weather to go with the new iMac or the mac mini. I have read all the reviews and read what other have to say about both of them and they are both great but........I mean i really like the all in one on the imac but then there is the mac mini which is alot cheaper, but my thinking is that you pay for what you get.

have you searched the forum here? this is an endless question...no offence, just we've been discussing it to death.
some questions:
do you have a monitor u already like? are you a gamer? what are you going to use your mac for?
you will get a lot of opinions here, then u can make up your mind.
i went with a mini (i have a monitor i like), but the imac is pretty impressive.
depends on your needs, budget, even aesthetic...

Are you going to do serious photo editing where color accuracy is important?
How much speed do you need?

What I plan on doing with the mac is using it for things such as like turbo cad, indesign, photoshop, and itunes. I mean I have read some of the reviews where they say the mac mini has a slow processor, now is that the same for the imac?

The Mac mini has a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz fronside bus speed and uses 667 MHz SO-DIMM DD2 RAM.
The iMac will have a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz frontside bus speed and uses 667 MHz SO-DIMM DDR2 RAM.
But the iMac has a larger, faster 3.5" Serial ATA HDD, an independant graphics card which is much more powerful then the Mac mini, and can much more easily and for a much lower cost upgrade the RAM to 2 GB. (1 1 GB chip is $41 shipped on NewEgg.)

Forgot to mention as well though, with the iMac you have a 20" LCD which has a glossy "screen" in front of it which can offset the colors from what they truly are, and with it's 160 degree viewing angle, even the sharpness of text will look different from the top to the bottom.
