Well, if some of you saw my other thread over in the Lounge you know I just bought a wicked expensive truck.

Trying to be a good steward of my finances I'm thinking I may (key word may) sell my MacPro to pay down some debt. I have a MacBook Pro and I've been bouncing back and forth using with both so I know the MBP will handle the load.

I'm not sure at what price point to offer it on craigslist and/or eBay. So far they seem to be all over the board.

Here's my setup.
Hardware:
4 gig of ram
3 250 gig drives
1 stock hard drive (which I forget what size that is)
X1900xt Video
quad 2.66GHz CPUs
Keyboard/mouse

Software:
OSX
iLife 06 (came with OSX)
parallels 2.5 and the license key for 3.0
Windows XP Pro (disc included)
Vista Business (disc included)

I'm not sure if it will help but I could leave CS3 on the hard drive for *cough* evaluation purposes. I'm not sure if that's a no-no or not. I buy all my software but its up to the buyer if he wants to or not.

Is asking 3,000 unreasonably high/low/just right? if its not right, what price should I offer it?

I hate to see this baby go, but I think it may be a wise step to pay down my credit card

$3000 sounds like a good deal to me because of the hard drives, RAM and video card.

Here you can not sell it with the Adobe software on it unless you include the original box, CD's, etc. But on CraigsList or other places you can.

Do you want them to have your serial number which will then be given to others and then Adobe will void your license since your shared it with others?
