I am considering buying a mac mini and using it with a external firewire enclosure, into which I will put a large SATA (or IDE) disk. What is a good enclosure to buy, and a good 750+G drive? This is largely for home theatre, so not too noisy.

Thanks.

I have the newerTech ministack which I used with my mini and I am now using it as an external drive with my iMac and it's great. It has USB and FW ports as well which is nice. I think you can get them up to 1TB now. Here is the link to their external drive products:

Good luck
