Okay, I'm so happy because I'm FINALLY getting a new iMac. I'm still using a Slot-Loading G3 "Flower Power" from 2002. Lol. Anyways, like I said next month I'm getting a beautiful G5:]. I've an 2000$ "spending limit". Oh, what cool accessories, software and or hardware should I add to it?

I hope you don't mean you're spending $2000 on a G5 PowerPC iMac
If you mean the Intel iMacs, they're not called Gx anymore, because the Gx related to the generation of PowerPC processor inside the Macs.

Oh Snaps, yeah Intel. I guess I'm still used to calling it "G5".

Haha, OK.
Well the only accessory I can think of is an external firewire hard drive equal to the size of your internal drive so that you can use it for backups.

I'd wait for another few weeks (seriously, if you're still on a flower power, then four or five weeks is NOT going to hurt) and get it with Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5).
Get the 24-inch model, and spend the remaining $200 on a decent-sized external backup drive - Leopard includes the sensational Time Machine backup engine.
That's really all you need.
