I have a Powermac G4 that is running OS 9.2 and I am trying to load OSX onto it but can not get it to boot from the CD.
It will put the DVD on teh desktop when I insert it in the drive, so I know the drive is working and will read the DVD, but it will not boot.
Is there something I am doing wrong? I am holding the "C" key while booting.

Here is a question, does the G4 Powermac have a battery onboard that remembers settings, and if so, if that battery died would it cause weird boot behavior?
I came to restart it today and had to reset the PRAM to get it to boot again.
