Hi, guys... I ordered a 4GB (2x2) kit from OWC earlier today, and it should arrive tomorrow. I was just looking over their site again, when I realized that some of their RAM is "Apple Certified," and some is "Apple Qualified." I'm paranoid now, because I ordered the "qualified" RAM. Does anyone know the difference? Anyone used the "qualified" stuff? Thanks for any clarification.

If you actually clicked on the links that read "Apple Qualified" and "Apple Certified" on the table listing memory options, you'd get the answer to your question.

Apple Certified:

Netlist supplies these same modules to Apple for use in systems factory configured with additional memory. I put the exact chips in mine too. No problems at all. If only I have Leopard as well, then I could really do something with all that RAM. I am so tired of "out of memory" errors!

I have 2GB of the Netlist (Apple Certified) memory in my MacPro and have had no problems.

According to OWC, neither of them do anything negative to your warranty with Apple, if the MP is still under warranty. i.e. they're both properly certified. To be sure you might want to check with Apple somehow? It confused me too.
