hi im asking on behalf of a friend is it possible to connect 2 screens to a mac mini?

there was a post about this a few weeks ago. it IS possible to run two displays from one mac mini with this lcd splitter type device (not the technical term), but it's not actually two displays. what the device actually does is combine the two displays as one, so if you were to put the two monitors side by side and had your dock located on the bottom and centered, half the dock would be on one screen and the other half on the other screen.

i personally would avoid this type of setup unless i already have two lcd's as i find having one 24" a lot more comforting to use than two lcds, but for some the more screen space the better.

You can run two displays with the Matrox DualHead2Go, but the quality isn't great (the signal is analog at some point).

I think the graphics card (GMA950) actually supports two displays, but Apple only puts one connector on it.
