Hi folks.

I just recieved a new Mac Pro and 20" cinema display as a replacement for an old LC475 that got wet in a flood.

The wife has pursuaded me we really dont need it so I am ebaying fresh out of the box (I am keeping the display tho)

Now I set it up when it arrived to make sure it wasnt damaged on arrival and now need someone to tell me how to reset it to "straight out of the box" i.e. factory reset.

Anyone know:?

I have whatever disks you get when you buy a new apple.

Thanks in advance

Edd

You're freaking kidding. Dumbest insurance company ever?

Put in the OSX installer disk and do an erase & install.

You've been using an LC475 all these years?

I wouldn't say I have been using it......

Lets just say it was in direct line of my flood and I thought "why the hell not" when deciding what to claim for.

It DID get wet - wasn't a fraudulent claim I just figured it was so old they would tell me to sod off

They didnt lol - I win!

And thanks I shall go do the install etc now

Someone at the insurance company thinks you're cute.
