I have a Power Mac G4/1.0 DP(MDD) w/2gb ram running 10.3.9. & ATI radeon 9800 pro v/c.
I have never had any problems since it was new but lately(past 4 days) the apple keyboard and logitech 2 button mouse w/scroll wheel just stops working. I have to restart using the main button on computer which returns control of kb & mouse. I have also gotten the message that I needed to restart my computer twice now, which I have never gotten.
I restarted with install disk and checked permissions & repaired HD (no problems found).
Any suggestions??
I have been waiting for the new Mac Pros to come out but I don't know if I can wait any longer.

Try a different keyboard & mouse. The cord is failing in one or both, resulting in USB errors, which disconnect the devices in question and sometimes lead to Kernel Panics.

Your expertise was correct reader50. I replaced the logitech mouse with the original apple mouse and no problems for the last day.
Thank you!!!
Now I can continue waiting for the new Mac Pros.
