Hi there! I recently bought a 24 inch iMac a couple weeks ago.
No complaints about it except one thing! The screen feels like it is very minorly flickering if I stare at it. Is this normal? I can't find a place to mess with the "refresh rate" of the screen, because when his happened on PCs you could always just modify the refresh rate to fix it.
Any suggestions? Does this happen for other people? It's a minorly noticeable flicker, but if I ignore it for the most part, I get used to it. Is this a precursor to a bad monitor that I should probably complain about and get replaced?

Not normal. If you open the Displays system preferences pane what refresh rate is selected? I've never been able to detect the refresh of a properly running LCD. If you can't finding a setting to increase the refresh I'd investigate replacement (or if that fails repair) options.

LCD refresh rates shouldn't cause flickering.

More likely to be the inverter or the backlight.

Yeah it won't let me modify the refresh rate. It's not clickable, it's grayed out.
It's not a huge issue and I have AppleCare, do you think I should wait 6 months or so and then if it gets worse, take it in?
I feel like this is how "all imacs are" and my eyes just happen to be good at detecting the refresh rate or something.
What do you all think?

Not normal. LCDs do not flicker, even if their refresh rate was 1.0Hz (once per second). Something is wrong with your machine - either the backlight, power supply or something else. Anything odd plugged in to the same outlet as the iMac? Fluorescent light perhaps?
