Hi All,

I have an intel iMac Core Duo that refuses to boot.
The computer froze up and had to be reset by holding the power button in. When switching it back on there was no chime / apple logo, screen stayed blank, drives and fans spun up and the light on the front is on. Thats it, wont go any further and i'm stumped. Short of taking it to an apple store which would involve considerable travel, does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

James

Reset the SMC. That can help with weirdness, particularly power/start-up chokes.
