Hey does anybody have one of these USB/FireWire cards? I need a USB card for my Power Mac G4, was considering that one. I would think it would work, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

Never heard of that brand before, but these specs are the key ones:

PCI Local Bus Ver 2.2 Compliant
USB 2.0 EHCI and USB 1.1 OHCI Compliant

As long as you're running OS X, it should work notta problemo, since the drivers & protocols for the cards meeting the above specs are completely integrated into the OS (& have been for quite some time now)

And surely Newegg will take it back if it doesnt work, yes ?

and BTW, I've got a no-name/off brand 4-port USB 2 card in my QS right now notta problemo. I got it on clearance somewhere early last year for like $3 or $4.........It runs my printer, scanner, mouse fulltime + anything else I plug into it just fine

Thanks. I went ahead and ordered it. I've never ordered from Newegg before, quite interesting.

Yea they have a fairly good rep among most of the folks here & at other mac boards too
