I've got a Western Digital USB My Book harddrive hooked up to my IbookG4. On it are a bunch of photos that I added captions to in hopes of being able to Spotlight search for them. However, when they are saved on my external harddrive, all of the captions and IPTC info that would usually display in the "More Info" section of the File Info aren't there. The only thing that shows are a few dashes under "More Info" and nothing else. When I copy a file from my external harddrive to my desktop, the IPTC and caption info show up, but when they are left on the external harddrive, there is no info.
Any ideas? I'm really hoping to get the "More Info" to display so I can do a spotlight search for them.
