Hello MacNN,

I seemed to have an issue lately that when I try to close Safari or have Safari running my computer will freeze.

When I say freeze what I mean is I cannot load task manager, my mouse is a spinning color wheel and the dock is unresponsive. Thus the only way out is to hold in the almighty power button.

The only real programs I run constantly are Safari and Adium.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check your system logs for clues. Reset Safari, reinstall Safari.

Version of Safari? Version of OSX? Is everything up to date?

Safari is 3.0.4
OSX is 10.5.1

System Update says no new updates.

So far it has not occurred.. fingers crossed.
