I have a few, whilst trying out various settings on my iMAc.
Is it possible to delete the ones I don't want ?
(System Preferences)
And can I amend color to colour ?

Under Displays in System Preferences, go to the Color tab and see all your profiles. Highlight one and then click "Delete Profile." Or am I missing something?
I'm also not sure what you mean by "amend color to colour." Is this a "UK vs. US English" issue?

Tried that...delete profile is greyed out.
Yes UK colour is preferable to US color on my iMac, as I am in UK

Maybe you need to log in as an admin? I don't-my button is perfectly functional.
As for the spelling, I don't know if you can change this sort of thing if the localization doesn't change it.

Ok, I see that. Tried it just now and no, the preinstalled profiles (four of them on my iMac) are not deletable.

It's the one's I created that I wish to remove, same result.
Success....I had to do this, as per iMac help...ie delete the profiles manually.
Where are ColorSync profiles located?
To make it easy to share and organize ColorSync profiles, you can put them in several locations on your computer or network.
These are the standard locations for profiles on your computer:
System Profiles: System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/
These are the profiles used by the system. You should not attempt modify or delete these profiles. You should not install your own profiles here.
Computer Profiles: Library/ColorSync/Profiles/
This is the recommended place to install new profiles. These profiles are available to all users, and are available to be used by ColorSync Utility.
