Hello,

10.3.9 on a Power G4.

The machine boots into 10.3 and stops at the white screen with the grey apple icon.

It will boot all the way if restarted with "OPTION" is held down and 10.3.9 is selected.

Go to System Preferences, click Startup Disk and select your 10.3.9 disk. See if it works normally after that.
