So I got a 1 gig pc133 ram and I put it in today next to the 256 pc133. All I get is a beep. I took out the 256 and just did 1 gig same beep. tried both slots same thing. I pushed it in all the way and nothing. If any one has any suggestions that would be great. Does ECC ram matter. It is ECC ram but I think that should not matter as it is 133 ram which is what this emac uses. I need it for leopard.

The eMac doesn't take ECC RAM. It matters.
