I have My 2GHz G5 imac running Leopard and all was fine and dandy until i powered it up yesterday evening. Finder is saying that the hard drive has no space left on it, but if you use time machine and go back 1 day it says there is 45GB free but the number of items remains the same.

My girlfriend has just logged on at home and when the machine booted up it still says zero space available. However if you use time machine and go bacj toi yesterday evening when the fault first happened it says there is 45 GB free!

Any ideas anyone?

p.s. i have installed no new software.

If you open Terminal and use the "df -h" command, how much space is listed there?
