I used to be able to synch from 20' away via BT on my old PC with Win XP. Now with the new crap OS I can't. So I've bought a Mac Mini for home and it's been great - including Airport Express + Wifi printer. Has anyone been successful synching their Palm with the new Mac's 10.4/10.5? Is there special software needed(beyond the Palm software I loaded)? I can synch via USB, but prefer BT for convenience. Thanks for any help.

I tried BT syncing my E2 1.5 years ago in 10.3 and it worked fine with Palm software and iSync however it was so slow (BT bandwidth?) that I went to a wired connection and never looked back. I would bet the capability is still built in.

i sync my tx with bluetooth (since 10.4) and have NEVER used the usb cable.
it is a major pain to setup (set it up in iSync, be sure to select palm syncing there); setup a bluetooth connection on the palm itself (pair it in the bluetooth pane in system prefs)

u need palm desktop installed first tho (and, btw, the place i keep my memos stored). you need to do some maneuvering with hotsync options...

wish i could be more specific, but spent half a day fiddling with this; it DOES work tho, i have the tx working with Address Book and iCal...
google a bit, might better info out there; it IS do-able....
