Is it possible to add a second HD to iMac 24''?

I saw pics online about someone dismantled the whole iMac 24'', it seems that there is enough of space to put a 2nd HD. Do you all think it is possible?
iMac 24'' 2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD
MacBook Pro 15.4 2.6GHz, 4GB RAM 200GB HD

Most of that space is for ventilation, and you don't want your iMac to overheat.

Besides, there isn't anything for it to hook into, no extra SATA or PATA ports.

If you pay him enough, I bet you could get C.A.T.S. to let you shrink him. Then he could go in and hold the HD for you.

Just an idea..
