HI,

I have a TVIX 4100 media player that is connected by an Ethernet cable to my wireless Squeezebox 3 (downstairs) and using the Squeezebox 3's wireless bridge feature to (unsuccessfully!) connect wirelessly to my G5 (upstairs).

I have tried both straight through and cross over cables and set up a share using NFS Manager but can't get any results.

If anyone is able to help or has some experience with a similar set-up then I would be very grateful to hear from you.

I can detail lots more information if someone can help.

Don't know too much about how squeezeboxes do their networking, but have you tried putting a router or switch in between everything?
I mean connect the media player and squeezebox to a wireless router. The only thing I can think of is a problem issuing IP addresses.
