It froze. I restarted. Light blinks 3 times; no beeps.
If I rearrange the RAM cards, or take a pair or two out, it will start-up, maybe a third of the time... but eventually it will freeze again, especially if it goes to sleep.
Doesn't seem to be one single bad memory stick... maybe I haven't been thorough enough?
Could it be my video card?
Can anyone help? Waaaaah.

I would reduce it to two RAM sticks, then test. If it freezes, test another two. Chances of two sticks failing at once are slim. If you can get it to boot, run the hardware test on the original bundled CDs. That will test RAM. Loop it a few times.

Thanks, but it now won't restart with any 2 sticks... I doubt all 8 failed simultaneously.
What else should I be looking at?

Ok... I finally got it to start and I ran the hardware test (5 times) just like you recommended and everything passed. I then rebooted and it went to the 3 flashes again. What in-the-name-of-everything-holy is wrong with my machine!?

ps- thanks for bothering.
