I have a new imac that came with a wireless keyboard and mouse. My problem is it takes a few minutes for the mouse to wake up. I turn off the keyboard and mouse to save the batteries. I let the mac go to sleep. When I turn on the keyboard or the mouse the screen wakes up but the mouse will not function for a few minutes. The keyboard starts right away. Any ideas on how to get the mouse to respond quicker....thanks in advance

I think I corrected it or at least it seems faster. I went into apple preferences, universal access and changed the intial response time on the mouse
