Hi there,

In a couple of weeks i am going to get a new imac. I am currently running a Dell laptop with the router that i got free when i signed up with Tiscali last year. Now when i get the imac i want to go wireless, any recommendations on a wireless router? Bearing in mind i want a good quality one, but don't want to pay the earth...

What's wrong with the one you have?

Oh - sorry - it's not wireless? Well, Apple's range of wireless routers are excellent, and very easy to set up.

He will pay the earth for apples router's. But its very easy to set up. I have a Linksys WRT54G very nice router.

I don't know, the Airport express is about 90USD, and the extreme about 170 both worth it if you ask me - yes - you can get cheaper routers, but, well, you get what you pay for.
On the other end of the spectrum, I have a Linksys that I got for 30USD that has only ever been a mild PITA.

I have a new imac and use airport. I also have a one year old apple laptop. The laptop loads faster than my new Imac!!! Both are wireless sitting side by side. Any ideas??
