Hey, I have a powermac g5 dual 2.0. Never had any issues at all until two months ago. I've had my mac for about 4 years now. One day it just wouldn't turn on and hasnt since. I've had the power supply changed, no luck. Tried all the suggestions on this forum. Have changed the battery, reset everything I could still no luck. I press the power button and it revs up. You can hear the fans but no start up chimes and thats about all I get. Anyone please help!

How did you manage to have your power supply changed? Service center? Didn't they verify the machine was working before they sent it back to you?

I took it to an apple support store they just opened in Park Slope Brooklyn. It took them two months just to change the power supply which they charged me $300+ dollars for. Then they told me maybe it could be the mother board but I didnt like the way they ran their business so I took my MAC back home. Also, before I took it there the lights would flash now nothing happens but fan noise.
