Just a few questions from a newbie. Since leopard has alot of in-born applications is it necessary to download java for the internet? Or is this not needed like adobe reader isn t needed?
Also when I get my macbook, is there a way that I could load in all my music from an external hard drive to my comp hd? The music was put onto the external hd from a windows computer...yes i made the switch lol.
I know this isnt right but this is more out of curiousity... is there anyway on a mac to be able to take friends ipods and load the music from their ipods to your computer hd. With windows I know there are a few apps for this. Is there anything similar on the mac platform?
Thanks in advance guys.
1. Java is installed by default.
2. Yep, just drag it to iTunes.
3. iTunes can import their purchased songs and then you can authorize them for your machine, but cd rips won't work.
