Ok, I just got my 20 inch iMac last Thursday and this morning I turned it on and saw the tiniest dead pixel right below the Apple symbol at the top left corner of my screen. If I have a dark background (like the planet earth one) you can't see it at all. Is there any methods for fixing this issue? Its almost not worth the hassel to send it back to apple but it is big enough to where it erks me.

The rubbing technique can sometimes work for individual pixels (just rub it gently with the soft part of your thumb or index finger either directly or through a soft cloth or tissue). There are also programs you can find on Versiontracker that quickly cycle through all sorts of colors and patterns that can sometimes help "wake up" a stuck pixel.

I actually found this pixel fixer for the iphone... But how long should I run it and could it possibly mess up any of the other "normal" pixels?? Beware of this video if you are seizure prone.. seriously.. it hurts my eyes..
