Ok my question is, I thought that apple usually charge the credit card once the item is available and has shipped. But I just checked my credit card via online and its been charged already! Kinda weird. Anyways, $395 for a bad ass card like this is a great price! I have the 2.8ghz mac pro 8 core with 16gb of transintl RAM (I highly recommend their RAM!!).
But my real question is the shipping date is by april 2nd and 3rd for me receiving the item. But do you guys think it will ship alot sooner maybe its estimating from last month for 5-7 weeks?? I know alot of people who ordered the mac pro with the nvidia 8800gt cards even just 2 weeks ago are getting shipping notices this week.

Actually it's a pretty bad price; the PC version of the card (same hardware, different firmware) retails for about half that.
And isn't it $350 from Apple anyway? Why didn't you order it with your Mac Pro?

I think it will ship in April. I'd expect Apple to give first priority to those who ordered it with a Mac Pro.

I wouldnt say its half the price, $395(This price is plus tax and next day shipping fedex)-$269(tax included)+$22(next day shipping from new egg)= about a $104 difference, NOT half or about half. 104 is a bit more expensive but its well worth it imo because its on my fav. machine the mac pro, plus it will work in osx and windows, especially OSX, Oh do I HATE windows, windows is only good for 1 thing and its just gaming which I only do about 10% of the time anyway. Most of my gaming is done on a ps3 or xbox 360 via on my 52" sony bravia xbr4 with surround sound with an yamaha v861 receiver and rotel amp with b&w 805s and digital audio back woofer/towers speakers =D.
here take a looky:
This is my seat and 52" sony bravia xbr4's point of view
here is my setup with of course my 2.4ghz SR Led macbook pro, 4gb ram, and samsung 64gb ssd-sata II!
The mac pro 2.8ghz 8 core with 16gb of ram (transintl), 150gb raptor 10k drive and 3tb of hitachi deskstar 7200rpm 32mb cache drives with a 23" ACD!!
Still havnt finished this game!! *blue dragon on the xbox 360*
