I have a Mac Pro Quad that I purchased refurbished from Apple a few months ago. Since it's a referb it didn't come with the airport card or bluetooth card. So I took it to my local Apple store (which is a pain cuz it's so heavy) and had them installed. All worked fine at first then I noticed I had a hard time keeping it logged onto my network. I thought it might be my old Graphite Airport. So I got a new Airport. Same problem happens. It'll be fine for months then it acts up again.

It had been working fine for a while until today when I tried to open a couple of ports on my airport for Timbuktu. It seemed to be really slow so I tried to close the ports and the Mac Pro couldn't see the airport long enough to get them closed. Now it's saying it's connected to the internet but it's increadibly slow. It ends up losing the connection before a page can actually open. I don't think it's the airport because I'm typing this now from my G5 and the connection seems just fine on this computer. Should I take it back to Apple?

Thanks
