Is it possible to run MacOS X 10.4.11 on the new Mac Pros? Corporate HQ is requiring the printshop I work for to upgrade our software and equipment. We're currently using Adobe Creative Suite 2 under 10.4.11 and everything works great, but we're going to have to up it to CS3 in a couple of weeks as well as getting new machines. I know people are having real problems with Adobe applications and 10.5.x so I'd like to stick with 10.4.11 for now. Apple says running 10.4 on the new Mac Pros is unsupported. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does it work? Should I just try and get some refurbed last-model Mac Pros instead? I'd really prefer to get the newest machines I can so they will last as long as possible, but if I have no choice...

It is claimed that Apple will send Tiger to those owners of new computers who request it. You may want to call SOSAPPL to make sure before you order.
